This picture is my au revoir to DA:
Ah DA; when I was 16 you taught me art can reach the millions whether you be rich or poor, you don't always have to colour everything, people will like your art anyway, but it's nice to always try. Too, with this, I learned anyone can learn to do digital art, even myself, and to never be afraid of that which people call 'talent', always do your utmost best to exceed your best even when those works only wind up getting you 2 or 3 favs. What else did you teach me? Porn will always get more views than real art (at least here, anyway); a shame, but I hope that will one day change. Through this site I learned also there's (many) people who have an avid love for the past (Victorian, Regency, Rococo, etc.) besides myself!
I made many friends on this site, received valued advice I'll always take with me and learned that my doodles aren't horrendous, but somewhat passable. So thanks DA, & to all those who stood by me in the long run. For any passionate artist who is wrought with doubt and criticism from others: tell them to eat cake!
